Jessy Mabe, Co-founder

Jessy Mabe is our instructor. She has been around horses since the age of 3 when her “Pop-Pop” bought her a stubborn little Shetland pony, named Geronimo or “Ronmo,” who didn’t really like to be ridden...at ALL! So, there was the bucking pony, the 3 year old girl who was falling in love for the first time and the rest of her life, and Granny, with her constant love and occasional tough love advice. Needless to say, Jessy learned at a very young age, when you fall (or get bucked off) in life, you get back up, dust off, and get back in the saddle!

Jessy received her certification as a John Lyons, “America’s most trusted horseman,” Trainer in 2007 and her C.H.A. certification in 2017. Jessy grew up riding Hunters and Jumpers and showing extensively. In 2004 her love of riding changed to the Western Style! She has taken children to the Junior Rodeo level, barrel raced, done mounted shooting, roped cows and ridden through the Masai Mara, in Kenya, on a 2-week camping trip! She loves adventure and horses and looks forward to sharing her lifetime of riding experiences with you and of course her equine partners!
